So all goods end up being produced by monopolies? How does that track with the state of gaming at this moment? How does that explain smaller studios producing AAA-level games that are hits?




And who gets 30% of the take? I'll give you a hint… monopolies.

You mean publishers? We could use more competition in that area. The point is, the gaming industry is struggling right now, but that's not a sign of big greedy corporations winning. We're not buying what they're selling. The business model isn't working very well. Someone will find something that works and catches fire. Someone always does. There will be hits. These games will still be unlikely to meet your vigorous standards, of course. :-)
