Accounts are for tracking digital game purchases, and trophies right? I could very easily live without either.

Also needed for trust and safety enforcement. No accountability if there is no identity permanence and it is not connected to anything personal.

Why do we need this for offline splitscreen? Accountability is me looking at you and saying knock it off.
