I’m confused by this thread. You needed a PlayStation 5 Pro, and Chris 101B doesn’t have a PlayStation? And I don’t know what you have against using for a throwaway email to create a temporary account. I agree that it seems excessive, but I’m willing to bet there’s no malevolent motive— this is just the easiest way for them to overcome a technical difficulty. For Bungie the solution was to have everybody become “bungie friends.”
