They literally aren't. They SAID they aren't. They said "Don't expect this from us." Not tiny Indie studios, but people representing AAA studios and publishers. I'll believe it when I see it, but we aren't seeing it.

I covered this already. They're setting expectations based on what is in the pipeline. It's likely too late to change much in a game that is well under development. Mark my words. In interviews for games in the future, devs will cite Baldur's Gate as an inspiration.

Look at that. Doesn't even want to TRY. There won't even be a Baldur's Gate 4 because not even Larian nor the designer of 2 want to compete with 3.
