To be fair, it's a preference, not a rule.

"Yo, BLACK. Come here!" Sounds racist. Kinda funny.

I ran Aksis with a guy named, literally, SomeBlackGuy. We were all chatting, "hey black guy, what's up?" He obviously knew what he was in for when he chose that name. Good guy, very funny, good player.

One time a guy fixed that this way.

"Star, can you go to the left?"

I do this quite often. My old roommate was name Lawrence so I called him 'Rence.

Of course, that was during a raid with Morningstar.

Ha! In that case I'd probably go with "black" and "morning" even though it's against my preference. I would lose sleep later trying to figure out if I should have gone with B and M.

What do you call Zero Point Fox? Or Chappy? Or Nico? "hey NEEK!"
