Seems like the Marathon alpha went up early for a few hours on Xbox this morning. I watched some footage. It looks cool. The pace of combat and time to kill is slower than I anticipated. I just sort of figured it would be like Destiny. It does look very Destiny in a lot of ways, but watching some of the PvP fights gave me Reach vibes, just in terms of pace, which is really exciting for me if that holds true. Destiny is far from the fastest game, but it is fast, and while it is fun, I always missed the slower pace of Bungie Halo.
