For me, it was just too much going on. Work, family, grad school. Destiny was like a second job. I can go months without playing Halo, and jump right back into matchmaking like nothing happened. I am not happy with the story direction that Halo took under 343, but I enjoy the matchmaking and firefight. I stepped away from Destiny b/c there was the constant urge to stay up to date or not be able to compete or to be useful to the group. Now, I mostly lurk here to see what folks are up to.
