Speaking of Borderlands, how will gambling work?

Now unless I'm crazy, didn't Bungie say there will be gambling in Destiny? I have to admit, Bah Lans 2 had a rather cool system with their loot-filled slot machines, and it was fun just to watch and see what your friends would get. I hope they do something similar, but take it a step further.

Specifically, it'd be cool if they have gambling that puts your weapons on the line, not just gambling that's based around money. High stakes! (Hopefully, you'll be able to gamble with other players too, not just with the game itself.)
