Loot drops, cheating, and boosting

I haven't heard anything regarding trading items whatsoever. In most MMOs, you don't have the convenience of dashboarding without saving, so duping (short for duplicating) items really isn't a problem, in my experience. It will be interesting to see if Destiny has the ability to trade items, either over a trade function or by drop and pick up.

I imagine that Bungie wouldn't be very kind to players that exploit the game, given their past attitude toward cheaters. But in a game that features a large pve element, who knows how they will react to people who mod or duplicate items.
