The death of Fusion Rifles in PvE (Destiny)

I used to use fusion rifles a lot. Now? Barely ever (Mythoclast excepted). Literally the only time now is if I am out of rockets in the Vault of Glass fighting a Praetorian. With the plethora of elemental primaries and the great new snipers such as LDR 5001, I haven't had the need in a really long time.

Does anybody use them still, and where?

They still wreck in PvP.
