Took me all night to download (Destiny)

Well I guess I better log back in and download some updates. XD
I don't know why Destiny, unlike every other PS4 game ever, cannot download in the background while your console is asleep.
Between several network hiccups (my PS4 getting less than 1 mbps) and having to restart the download multiple times which would trigger the long "preparing to download" process.... it took me all evening to finally get it downloaded.I'd love for it to update in the background like everything else.
The best advice is that when an update for Destiny goes live, you should go to the Playstation website, and set the PS4 to start downloading anything (free demo, theme, avatar picture, whatever). It should trigger it to start downloading Destiny updates.
