That being said, I often feel heavy ammo is a really cheap way to win battles in the Crucible (especially rockets, which is why I favor HMGs; you have to actually hit your target with an HMG).

You really need to try sniping with the bolt-caster. When you get a distance kill with it I feel just like I do when I map someone with NLB.
