I think heavy can really influence a game. A dominant team becomes more dominant. A team behind can catch up with the right push. For those reasons, I understand people who wouldn't do this.

That being said, I often feel heavy ammo is a really cheap way to win battles in the Crucible (especially rockets, which is why I favor HMGs; you have to actually hit your target with an HMG). I could see players who want a match to be defined by a display of greater skill and strategy waving at the start, and I'll be one of them. I know it's incredibly unlikely outside of private matches to get heavy waved off, but it'll be something I do.

I think the smaller game types, especially Trials, would be better off without heavy in the first place. It'll be interesting to see if this has any affect on casual crucible (I doubt it, but still curious to see).
