Are you expecting Pike jousting won't be a thing?

My money is on big ugly bayonets being the closest we get to swords. I believe you can see a bit of that action in the concept art we've seen so far. Non-gun weapons are bit of a slippery slope, I think. First it's swords, then somebody wants a halberd, and so on and so on.

Pretty soon Space Wizards are going to conquer Mars with nothing but glowy wands. Kind of takes the Shooter out of Shared World Shooter.
