Text and background source image located (Destiny)
The document used in the background, conics, involves the naming of the curves parabola, ellipse, and hyperbola (according to wikipedia). The fact that the brightness values for each block is a square seems like it could be very much important (at least in reference to parabolas). Maybe they are a part of some sort of mathematical pattern? Something parabolic?
