What I liked about cheapLEY's post is that he touches on this truth: Halo can never have the appeal or the impact of Bungie Halo because gamers now are not like gamers in the aughts.
Halo needs its Mario 64 moment. If it can't get that, then it will languish forever. Everything is different now. You evolve or you die.
