That could very well be true. I generally find that some people who complain about build quality are very hard on controllers. Other than the sticky bumper on the launch Xbox One controller, I’ve never had a controller with any issues. No rubber on sticks falling apart, no broken buttons, no case issues.
I’m just not a fan of rubber grips in general. I mostly don’t like the way it feels. But I have seen many reports of issues with. Obviously there’s no real data, but I saw it enough that it was concerning.
I’ll still probably buy one though.
