Now that I think about it, more and more modern iterations do have Eggman looking less "egg"....how weird would that be if Carrey Eggman picked up a bad eating habit from being foiled all the time until he sort of looks like Eggman. Eh, that sounds like it would be gross.

I've been mollified, but others obviously aren't so happy.

But hey, if nothing else(and fans have been saying this for years)...at least we still have Sonic OVA. ;-)
