But the mass of those moons is individually very small. None are more then twice our moon's mass.
Metallic liquid hydrogen only occurs under pressures of 1.28 Mpa, which is greater then the pressure at the bottom of Earth's oceanic trenches.
As an aside, the Krill must be pretty tough to withstand the pressures and heat at those depths. I'm surprised they don't just spontaneously explode or disintegrate the first time they "cut a wound" and go to one of the moons, similar to how the human body doesn't handle the vacuum of space too well.
