I broke my right hand once and only had use of two fingers. At this time, I also used a mouse left handed, but don't continue doing that. So I'm not sure.

I had zero training on a computer in school and didn't have one at home until about 1997...but it was a beast. Pentium 2 at 300 MHz, 4 MB 3d card, 21" monitor at 1600x1200, 96 megs of RAM, 12 GB hard drive, sound blaster with 5.1 speakers. I still use those speakers. My dad never let me use that PC though.

My only experience was playing games at my friends houses. Quake, Marathon, Doom, very occasionally other crap. I got my own computer in 2003, when I found out the video card in the family PC (which at that time was even lamer) wasn't good enough to play the videos on HBO in high res.

So that is about the time I really learned the ins and outs, and I was in high school. By that time, my dumb typing had already developed.

Short answer: that's what you get with zero training.
