Squished arrow keys (Off-Topic)

proper arrow-keys (not the squished kind).
Seriously, what the hell is up with, HP? Who honestly thought those are a good idea?
The first manufacturer I remember seeing using that design was Apple. I think other companies are aping it from them....and it would seem that they're still not satisfied.

Because, obviously, you never need to use the up/down keys.
That bottom picture makes me sad. :(
