Darn it. (Destiny)

I missed picking up the Ghosts when Paradox was the daily. I couldn't log on and do it that day. ):

This is where I start to have problems with how they are doing some of these things. I'm okay with the way they did the Black Spindle. It's self-contained. But now with the Sleeper Simulant and this quests, if I don't do something, I'm locked out of the next step that won't happen for weeks.

So now, if I grab the Ghosts next time Paradox is the daily, how long will I have to wait after that to be able to do these quests?

It's making me feel like I'm being punished for not being able to play Destiny every day.

I'm usually not one for posts like this, and I haven't really felt this way before. I missed the Black Spindle the first time it came around, and I'm okay with that. But now it just seems like it's going to be the trend.

This is hardly better than random drops for getting exotics. It's not dependent on the player actually doing anything, it's just dependent on Bungie flipping a switch to turn it on. If you can't play the day they happen to flip that switch, then you're just out of luck until they decided to flip it again in a few weeks.

I was planning on taking a break from Destiny soon anyway, with Halo 5 coming out, so I guess it's not a huge deal, but this just makes me feel shitty in a weird way that I've never felt about Destiny before.

EDIT: And now I see that Paradox is the Daily today, so maybe that rant was all for nothing, and I'll look like an idiot.
