...That Was Fast. (Off-Topic)

You guys remember when my Start Menu wouldn't work and I had to refresh my computer(and delete all my stuff) to make it work again?

Not even 36 hours.

At this point, I'm considering sending it in for repair--which I'm not happy for. What I don't get is that there's no clue--no trigger as to how this happens. It's frustrating...

So you reformatted your hard drive

And it still didn't fix the problem?

Morpheus, what do you mean by "refresh?"

As funkmon asked, did you reformat your hard drive?

have you checked for bios or keyboard driver updates?

Hard drives are cheap, since you already deleted all your files, it might not hurt to just put a new drive in it.

No, it wasn't a full reformat--there's a recovery feature on PC's(at least W10 ones) called Refresh your PC. It removes all apps from your computer, but keeps the files.

I talked to a couple people on Microsoft Support, and after a few methods, they suggested that.

Reformat. Should fix it.

Refresh is reformat's little sibling. Call in the big guns.

Just to be safe, install Linux.

Hhm, I'm not even sure what Refresh would do if it literally only removes the apps. Maybe it works more like a System Restore? That would remove borked settings or messed up registry entries at least.

You should definitely do a reformat if none of the other suggestions have helped.
