RNG drops should not be how we earn marks though (Destiny)

relying on RNG to drop a purple engram, or waiting for RNG to decrypt a blue into purple should not be how I am expected to "earn" marks. I get that I miss out on easy marks by not doing the daily stuff everyday, it's just frustrating to go from easily earning 200-400 marks per week by just playing the game how I wanted to play

I have basically completed all of the quest lines on my Hunter and now the rate that I earn legendary marks is incredibly slow.
