The more things change, the more they stay the same...*Vid* (Off-Topic)

A character that leaps forward and smashes the ground with an electric blast, killing all around him.
Another that can activate a special ranged one-hit-kill weapon that makes enemies explode.
Another that can revive themselves after death.
Another that can go invisible, or activate lethal arc-blades that can kill in one hit...
And one that can drop a special wall that blocks all enemy fire.

Yup, Black Ops 3 has some neat and unique characters!

That's just some of the eight Specialists in the game, and each has two different Supers that they can activate in a match. You fill up your meter while you play, and then hit L1+R1 to activate it. Sound familiar?

I think it's funny that Halo was accused of unsuccessfully ripping off Call of Duty once Bungie left it behind, and now Call of Duty is borrowing a number of ideas from Bungie's newest IP. Sure they're both Activision-published games, but it's still pretty funny.

That said, as someone who hasn't bought a Call of Duty game since 2012, this one has me completely sold... Which is weird, because no doubt tons of comparisons to Titanfall will be made (mainly due to the movement systems), but I couldn't enjoy Titanfall for more than 20 minutes at a time.

The gameplay is "Destiny on crack" as Sammy put it, and I am able to employ a number of my Destiny strategies and playstyles very easily. I made a video with random gameplay clips to show off the gameplay.

I mostly play as Nomad with his Glitch super. It's weaponized rubberbanding that allows you to Blink back to a previous location...

So yeah, the Black Ops 3 Beta is going on right now for PS4 preorders, and is ridiculously featured (Eight playlists, Seven playable Characters, three maps, weapon paintshop, tons of weapons). It takes the best things about Destiny, and fits them into Treyarch's by-now-perfected Call of Duty features (the other Call of Duty dev studios have done nothing but rip off Treyarch for over half a decade, to little success). Definitely give it a try if you can.

Considering that this is just a sample of a third of the game's modes (4-player co-op campaign, 4-player co-op Zombies, Multiplayer), I know I found my post-Taken King game:

My favorite match so far...

So Bungie, can we get Blacksmith with this game too? :v
