Gotta love it. (Destiny)
"Hey, maybe I have time for a couple of games of IB before we have to head out."
Sign in, get dumped into game in progress on Twilight Gap. My shots can't connect, I hit NOTHING. (I had zero points for the first 3 minutes.)
Game ends, we lose by 3k. I've gone 4-14.
Maybe my connection sucks. Maybe I shouldn't be playing right now.
Ah, one more. Who knows?
Twilight Gap. Again. :(
Every shot hits. Not just mine - my whole team. The other team gets a total (TOTAL) of 24 kills. Game ends 20k-4k, I go 13-3.
I blame Comcast.

Good old lag :)
I must be lucky... I constantly hear that Iron Banner is laggier than standard crucible, but I haven't run in to this so far. A rough game here or their, but overall it has been quite smooth. I wonder if time of day effects this at all? I'm usually online quite late, so there are very few people in the eastern hemisphere still online. I refuse to believe my internet provider actually did something right...
... damn you, Rogers.
Good old lag :)
I've actually been having much more lag in normal crucible than lately this week. Havent touched IB yet.

I wasn't manually pulling the trigger there, that was full auto TLW taking WAY too long to prevent certain death. You can imagine the terror I was experiencing and the cheers of joy shortly afterword. Like my broken Mythoclast, it seemed to fix itself by switching out my primary weapon a few times.
There's been consistent lag in IB but I didn't notice much, if any in that particular game.

The despair was palpable

Networking's been glitchy for me too
I too am seeing games where I can't hit worth a damn, then other games where it seems I can't miss. I've also had "weasel" errors that dump me to the title screen, only to find that my X1 can't even find the Internet anymore; I've taken to just hard-resetting the console after that, as it's faster than working the diagnostics.
-- Steve thought it was his ISP until he saw so many other complaints; now he's wondering if it's server issues.

Yeah this is strange. My Xbox doesn't even let me open other apps after this happens. A hard reset it the only option I've found.

Totally thought it was just me, but this problem seems more and more common. With any luck it's being reported enough that it's at least getting looked into.

me, too.

Seems like Destiny is the only game that causes it.

It gets worse around 2-3 am, PST
Right around that time we tend to only get match with people with names all in spanish, with lots of references to Mexico, which leads me to believe that there's no one left in America who is still online and my cadre of friends are stuck playing internationally. Boy is the lag awful in those games.

had this happen last night after a weasel error. Completely cut me off from the party chat too. I double tapped my xbox button to bring up the party, but it just loaded the little d-pad screen (destiny, snap an app, party, go back) and it stuck there. I couldn't get it to go away.
I tried hitting the xbox button to go to dashboard, but that didn't work either. So i tried the voice commands. The little concentric circle that appears over the xbox logo in the top right appeared, then froze. I had to do a hard reset.
