Ah, I got you, but I think it's just you. Curved metal with a red stripe does not a Suros Regime make. I see the Fallen aesthetic as having different influences--more like Mad Max, less like 2001.

This seems to be the general consensus to be honest. I could never put it into words exactly but I feel like it might be related to the level of customisation they put in. Reach eschewed the well-structured formula of ODST to allow us to do almost whatever we wanted with Reach Firefight.... Except customise a level to be like ODST Firefight.

ODST's Firefight was a true test of your skill and knowledge of enemy tactics.

Reach's Firefight was an XP farm.
