Solar System flags, gave me a Destiny vibe.

Don't know why, maybe its because it shows humanities advancement into the Solar system which is where Destiny will be taking place. But I thought these were really cool.

It starts to give a very Halo/Mass Effect vibe once we get out of the solar system as well.

I agree. Be kinda cool to see if something like this materializes officially in the game (like from the golden age).
