Omnigul Tastes the Rainbow... (Destiny)
Multi-burn for Omnigul (Solar for Weekly)...
Good stuff.
Be sure to use your Gjallarhorns to eat her alive.

I woke up early and my reset team is gone. :( (+edit)
I was looking forward to this one!
EDIT: Red Robber and Dusk450 were on though so we're doing it! They stayed up all night.

Omnigul kill time: 7 seconds. [VID]
Best loot dropped: FIELD SCOUT VANQUISHER!
Holy shit

30-Second Daily(Tuesday) Too!

Weapons of Light does not work with Rockets

You always say that and I never know what you mean.

We know.

The daily heroic mission is very short.
Since we are a high level and know exactly what we're doing, the mission is minutes long.

I think he's talking about this
It really takes me like 2+ minutes as evidenced by it taking me 30 seconds to get from the initial thrall room to the end.

Me blowing myself up is an added bonus.

Okay, not to be pedantic about it, but that's not 30 seconds.

O_O Its... Beautiful.

Fixed that for ya. ;)
It's just a figure of speech - the point is that it's one you can just blitz.

I didn't.

Yeah, sorry, Morpheus.
30 seconds made me think think there's some glitch/trick that I don't know about. A two-minute daily sounds impressive enough to me, but okay.

It increases the impact damage, not the subsequent splosions
So it increases it by like 5 damage or something. We used the bubble just in case we wanted to switch to shotguns or use a machine gun like we had been doing the previous runs. Instead, we just ended up using three rocket launchers.

True, but it's a lot faster than say, The Last Array or A Stranger Calls or especially The Wakening.
Boost into the Lunar Complex, jump over the Thrall, stick the Wizard, done.
1 Kill, no Deaths. Boom.
Dark Within, Dark Beyond, Exclusion Zone(to a point), Sword of Crota, Fist of Crots--I consider those to be very short, (somewhat) easy story missions, what I trademarked as 30-Second Dailys. Nothing in Destiny takes 30 seconds--not even loading the character screen. So while it's not literal, it's...well, I guess the term is 'relative'. Either way, it's quick Ascendancy.

Level 30 heroic story mission speedrun: 1:50.
I gave this one about 5 tries to get the first part right, then just quit trying to drive the sparrow through.

I forgot how slow and trundling the non-raid sparrows are. You could probably shave at least 20 seconds off if you had one of those.
Nice!
Great ending. I didn't know you could skip that first dark room at the top of the stairs.

Level 30 heroic story mission speedrun: 1:50.
In normal boost, legendaries are faster than the raid ones, and it's really hard to control not dying from the explosion after the double boost, so I didn't bother.

I have NEVER died from my sparrow exploding using boost. It doesn't even hurt you if you're riding it.

Ditto
I was actually disappointed that it didn't actually kill you if you let it explode :(
-Disciple

Misspoke entirely.
I meant not having the sparrow explode from the double boost. I read you comment and was like "What?" Then I read mine.

Audio/Visual Cues
There's a meter that fills on the back of the sparrow as you use your double boost. When it fills, it turns red, and an alarm will start to play. If you release the boost button before the alarm's third tone, you won't explode.

Audio/Visual Cues
Or, if you're a hunter, it's just the audio alarm. Good luck seeing the lights.

Capes are for suckers. Get a scarf!

You can shave a few seconds off that by using the "sidestep" to break inertia. Also, the straight path through the Thrall room can shave a few more.
I had never thought of barging into the Wizard room and on top of that shed, though. Next time it rotates, if I have time, I'll try to record it. :)

Now I know.
... I trademarked as 30-Second Dailys.

FWIW, I thought today's was the only one

I thought it worked on the Wolfpack though?

Nope. Try it yourself.

Sorry.
I was looking forward to this one!
Sorry. I signed up for that, then had a conflict, but the teambuilder has this weird thing for me-- it locks me out of editing an hour early because it thinks the event has already passed.
There's something off somewhere in the time zone code-- it properly corrects event displays for my timezone, but is off by an hour when it decides events are already passed.

Not quite

The FTB currently prevents editing of an event if it starts within the next two hours to prevent the creator from pulling a fast one on the attendees. I think that's what you're seeing. I myself have been bitten by that as well, so maybe it's a restriction we can do without….

I liked that
It helps avoid "where is everyone?" situations in the case an event gets suddenly changed and someone doesn't notice it. Hell, if it were up to me, I'd expand the time buffer. Sure, it's weird if the host has to create a new one, but at least the confirmed people can easily rearrange, since we have each other's Gamertags/PSNIDs
Darn

Preventing editing seems ok, but can you still delete/cancel the event?

Yes, I've canceled a few where there were no sign-ups.
