I agree. Getting thorn was time consuming but felt rewarding, You can see the end of the tunnel. When just shooting for RNG you are left at Bungie's mercy. Another thing I would like to see if the addition of augments/slots. For instance on an Exotic add a slot where you can add a certain skill you enjoy in. Have the augments drop in raids and then you can pick and choose a perk that you enjoy. If that makes sense. This would add diversity to the games bland weapons. Otherwise everyone will have the same weapons with generally the same skills on it.
