The things they teach kids these days ... (Gaming)

This is awesome.

I didn't have any games growing up nor did I have friends with games, and didn't lay hands on a controller until just a couple years ago. I played some arcade games growing up but electronic games were pretty much a big NO in my house.

It has been interesting trying to play through things with a no-gaming background which gives me a lot of set backs and "puzzle" portions of things where seasoned gamers know that they need to solve something to move on....and I am still wandering around being completely lost. (apologies to those who I did the VOG raid with a couple nights back, I have no platforming experience and I know it's a drag watching me crash and burn regularly)

I like that parents are doing this and getting involved with kids rather than using games as a "go play this and leave me alone" out for themselves.
