On Sunday, Bonkle and I were on a Raid high, so we recruited Yapok and helped a couple of friends finish their Vault run. Though every single thing that could go wrong did (normally any one thing going wrong equals a wipe), for some raisin we managed to beat him in one try, and the video of it is an entertaining watch...

That magical moment when you are the only one living in the present, and you have to one man a cap plate and save at least one other dude. Our Home Team became very robust at one manning at least one side at a time. The Calming (Leg Fusion Rifle) I got from FWC was a godsend. Being able to one shot Supplicants and stop their explosion animation saved many an attempt.

I fell off the ledge at the beginning twice like an idiot.

I was actually ALWAYS on the Away Team as the official shield-holder in five different Vault runs, until my first game with Bonkle on Sunday, when happenstance left me as the lone survivor in the present while Bonkle and two others got pulled into the future. It was crazy fun to capture the point while keeping the supplicants off the exit portal, so I'd definitely recommend people swap out their duties every once in a while, otherwise they miss out on half the fun... Anyway, since then, I've been a Home defender, especially since Bonkle's a far better leader than I (The above fight was under his command).

Home Team was me 90%, until one time I got pulled into the future and had no idea what to do with the relic. Then El Minotauro crunched my shit.

Nothing is more demoralizing than trying to save the away team coming from the future, taking too long, and getting pulled into the past. lost across time, and twice fucked.

It really is funny how everything that could go wrong, went wrong, and yet we still pulled out the victory.
