Couple of minor enhancements Destiny could use... (Destiny)
...to improve my gameplay experience:
1. Gjallahorn needs to howl when I fire it. Not a bona fide wolf howl, but something that clearly evokes one.
2. Dead Orbit needs a hand cannon. It would be extra nice if it had a higher than average firing rate.
3. Farming-aid consumables. Something that will provide a waypoint or make resources pop up on your radar, similar to how enemies do, but using a different color and extended range. I have no issue running hither-and-yon to collect them, but something that tells me where they are, even if only for ten minutes at a time, would be nice.
4. Faction rep accelerators. Could be a consumable that applies across the board, could just be level 2-3 faction gear that only accelerates the gain rate for rep of that faction. But yes, that.

PS - Less minor but nonetheless necessary enhancements:
More varied patrol missions/public events: Escort missions would do a lot of good. The whole chase-down-this-target thing is...eh. It's always more frustrating than it is fun. Mass Effect 3 multiplayer did a decent escort mission. And everybody has fun doing that in TF2. I'd personally prefer to escort something that gives buffs, but minding the damage incurred by the objective is kind of an important facet for me. Would be fun to put a Defender to work.
New objective gametypes in Crucible. Hand-in-hand with the previous point. Juggernaut with the Sword of Crota is a drum I'm going to bang on for a while, as others have. Likely to turn into a Bladedancer party, but w/e. I could do with some of that.
Things like Headhunter and Crazy King (or entirely new shenanigans) are needed. I know I'm not alone on this, and I expect chances are good we'll see a bit in this vein, so I remain hopeful.
Thoughts?

Pretty much agreed across the board. I also kinda wish there was a way to purchase faction gear other than Crucible marks. I don't mind the Crucible as much as I expected to, but I hate that it's currently the only way to pay for faction gear.

Ah, you reminded me. Crucible Mark accelerators. Consumables that do that would be nice. I don't know of any such thing thus far.

So basically you want less grind :-p

I want to be able to swap characters in orbit without leaving my fireteam. That way I don't have to make people wait when we decide to move from PvE to PvP.

There is a weapon that does this and acts like a metal detector. I forget which.

Nah, not necessarily. Like I said, I don't mind doing the legwork to go get the resources. But it would be nice to change it up a little. It would be like when doing radar sweeps in Mass Effect was a thing. Just an indicator to get you there.
As for the faction rep, similar case. I don't mind rocking the colors and working towards a goal I've set for myself. But if I'm having a bad streak of games, or a bad night altogether where I'm just getting destroyed by higher level teams all the time, a consumable that lets me reap a decent haul of marks would be nice.
Doesn't mean I hate the grind or the investment system at all.

MIDA Multi-Tool (It's an exotic Scout Rifle)
From what I've seen watching streamers and looking up info online, the MIDA Multi-Tool does not actually do this... I don't know if it is supposed to and just isn't working as intended, or if we're misunderstanding what it's supposed to do. Either way, I got super hyped when I heard about the Multi-Tool and then really bummed as more and more sources say it doesn't do squat except for point "north".

Speaking of pointing, does the Suros Regime compass still point at Threshold? :-p

Only if you're currently on Alpha Halo.

Suros Regime has a compass/goodie detector?
Sweet! That'll make looking for helium filaments much easier. It seems like everything I have requires them.
