Does Destiny ever cause songs to get stuck in your head? (Destiny)
I'm not talking about the game's music, either. For some reason, I associate certain levels with certain songs. Whenever I'm on the Moon, I get "Whalers on the Moon" from Futurama stuck in my head. Maybe it's because "Wizard from the Moon" sounds so similar. Hell, you could make up your own lyrics: "They're Wizards from the Moon; they're harbingers of doom..."
Mars makes me think of the second verse of Rocket Man: "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids; In fact it's cold as Hell; And there's no one there to raise them if you did"
The Darkness reminds me of "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel: "Hello Darkness my old friend..."
Of course, this isn't the first time something from Bungie evoked thoughts of other songs. Back during the Halo 3 beta, Valhalla made me think of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" because it referred to Valhalla in one verse. Whenever I jumped through the man cannon I even went "AaaaaAHHHHHaaaaaaaAAA!" I guess it's only appropriate that the song was used in a Destiny commercial.
So, any examples you guys would like to offer?
