Don't play the strike playlist (Destiny)

Select individual strikes via the map if you only want to play one at a time.

You are doing entirely the wrong thing to achieve your goal.

Selecting from the map gives you the low level version of the strike. Which isn't particularly challenging, nor does it give you any Rep or Marks.

But you already knew that, so...?
