Luck plays the biggest role in this game...

I love Destiny, but I hate how much luck factors into it all... I've got buddies who have gotten 3 Legendary's from Blue Engrams, and several Legendary Engrams as well.

On the bright side, it seems the higher level you are, the better the odds are in your favor. Once the Mark cap's reset, I should be able to do full Legendary gear and push my level higher.

Higher Level = More frequent Rare/Legendary drops and better gear from those drops...

Though honestly I'm always so worried handing them in. I was considering just vaulting them until we know more about how cryptarch ranking effects their chances and all that.

This was the ONLY reason I made that stupid class... But darn it if I won't rock the crap out of it...


So far, about half turn into blue, some turn into strange coins (which I actually want), and five so far have been Legendary, but two of them were Warlock Bonds (The fire bonds actually block part of the screen with flames when you wear them. A heavy price; I pay it gladly), and two were weapons that I never use (Shotgun and LMG)... It's a fun way to step out of your comfort zone, I suppose.

Also, it's funny to hear the frustration in party chat.
