Antialiasing method modified for final game? (Destiny)

Dunno about the other platforms, but on PS4, I don't have the feeling of stuff being smeared over in the same way as before. Seems like undersampled details are simply shimmering instead of being distorted and shimmering. The overall look seems cleaner.

Has the past month clouded my vision, or have other people noticed the same?
