I doubt it will. They'll probably settle out of court to keep it out of the public spotlight.

Can anyone comment on the significance of Marty suing Ryan, an individual, as opposed to Bungie? Is it typical to sue the head of a company for unpaid benefits rather than the company itself?

A sad state of affairs.

It's a cliche, but the phrase "how did it come to this?" comes to mind.
Hopefully settled out of court and quickly, letting both camps focus on moving forward and being positive.

I'd love some level of reconciliation, it's hard to separate Bungie and Marty in my mind.

There's more here, so I'd say yes Ryan being named is meaningful.

Stop jumping to conclusions and take a few deep breaths. We'll get through this together.

I'm not wanting to burn anyone at the stake. Someone is at fault here, but the reality is we don't (and probably won't ever) know all the details. Let not buy into the polarization the internet loves. Let's wait till we find out the truth before jumping to conclusions.

I hope somehow, someway, they find a way to settle this amicably.
