No, what makes you say Ascalon?
Couldn't remember how to spell Asklon and took someone's word for it on the internet.
It reminds me of Ashkelon and we know that Bungie likes their biblical connections.
Apparently Goliath came from there.
I suppose that it is pretty tenuous considering that it could just be the company logo.
