"Marathon 2025 Cancelled" is a misleading title in a thumbnail

Doesn't it mean "not in this year"? That's what I took from it and, without marketing, sounds very likely, regardless of definitive scrapping or not.

It can mean that, but don't we almost always say that games are delayed? I'm not disputing that Marathon the game is likely delayed and is highly unlikely to be released in 2025 as of now. "Marathon 2025" can and likely is interpreted as meaning the new Marathon as opposed to the old Marathon. Regardless, the thumbnail buries the lede, that the 2025 marketing campaign is what is cancelled, and I'm just can't believe it wasn't calculated to give the impression that the game has been outright cancelled--a reality that is not yet known.
