The main thing I was not understanding was how good Radiant Ward is--my problem with her was building up ATB and Radiant Ward helps her attack and dodge without getting stunned/knocked back so that I can actually build up ATB quickly now.

Spellbound blast can build ATB for her. If you're controlling Cloud, use it to get both ATB bars up. Mix it in when you have an opening.

And as far as weapon abilities, yeah--I usually unlock them as soon as they are available. I clearly don't understand the intricacies of how they work right off though :)

Those are going to be super important to master for hard mode.
