Gummy Bears (Gaming)

Here are the key details we’ve learned:
A PvP team-based competitive game.
While fundamentally a MOBA, the game’s “Smash Bros.” influences mean it feels distinct from other entries in the genre; falling off maps, and replacing health-bar eliminations.
Multiple game modes are planned.
Gummy Bears is described as having lo-fi and cozy vibes, a sharp departure from Bungie’s usual dramatic, high-stakes sci-fi worlds.
The project has been praised internally as Bungie’s “most fun” project out of incubation.
The game is targeting a younger demographic with vibrant, colorful visuals.
Expect a variety of roles, including Support, Attack, and Defense classes.
Gummy Bears has been in development for at least three years.

I genuinely hope this works out for them, but I'm not interested in the least. If anyone could make a MOBA fun, I honestly have no doubt that Bungie (or ex-Bungie, now some new Sony studio?) would be the ones to do it, but that's not for me.
I genuinely hope Bungie finds the space to make something without live-service hooks, but I'm just not sure that's in the cards anymore. I'd still kill to play a new Destiny (or something original) that was more akin to Halo.

RIP Marathon
Gummy Bears
I mean, the Gummy Bears project sounds great, and I'd much rather dive into a MOBA than a kinda-sorta-but-not-really hero-based extraction shooter. We haven't seen anything of it yet, so it's too early to say anything substantive, but I'm honestly pretty excited.
