I mostly just made this stuff for fun. I saw the traveler symbol and figured the upper left quadrant used a sine wave with period of 10/360 for the whole rotation; many of the angles have a lowest common denominator of 7; a lot of the geometry in each quadrant is not "centered" perfectly, etc. Those reverse-engineering details make me happy.
