TWAB - 1st of April 2021 - Vendors & Perk Reworks (Destiny)
https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/50223 or https://destiny.bungie.org/bwu/358
TL;DR:
- Ada-1 will take over the Armor related stuff that Banshee does (Selling general mods, selling combat style mods, selling armor enhancement materials)
- Banshee will then sell 6 randomly rolled Legendary weapons from the World Loot pool each week
- Changes to Celerity and Bottomless Grief
- Explain that they can't just make it a thing on adept rolls despite liking the idea
- Apparently perks randomly deactivate at times if there's too many perks on a legendary gun
- Explain that they can't just make it a thing on adept rolls despite liking the idea
- Bottomless Grief changes:
- Permanent +30 to the magazine, all the time
- Bottomless Grief becomes a flex perk on the left column perk on Adept GM weapons (i.e. can be swapped like the magazine perks can). Only applies to new drops in S14.
- Permanent +30 to the magazine, all the time
- Celerity changes:
- Permanent +20 Handling and Reload boost, all the time
- Celerity becomes a flex perk on the right column perk on Adept Trials weapons (i.e. can be swapped like the magazine perks can). Only applies to new drops in S14.
- Permanent +20 Handling and Reload boost, all the time
- Presage Deep Dive with the developers is coming Wednesday, April 7th at 1 PM EST
Extra Stuff:
I’m confused, from the way they described it if we have Celerity or Bottomless Grief on any gun CURRENTLY, those will NOT be getting the changes mentioned? If so that would really suck

They will get the changes that are happening to the perks themselves (additional stats), but adept weapons that have celerity at this time will not get an extra perk automatically next season. You'll have to re-earn that.

Technical limitation on that one.
Example (because I can):
Here is one of my weapons I kept (just in case) that has Celerity.
With this comeing update to Celerity, it's 82 Handling becomes... 102. That's Quickdraw speed folks. Quickdraw has never been a perk you can get one this. Presuming I read this right, the reload speed will go from 60 to 80.
So. As the kids say these days.... LETS GOOOOOOO.
...AND THAT, my dear DBOrs, is why I have my Vault at Max. All the time. All the time. ;_;
