It hasn't caused any issues yet, but I've had the "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" message constantly for about two hours now.

I remember the first time I ever did that (Halo 2), I was like “THIS IS SO DAMN COOL!”

Then every time after that, I was thinking “ok I’m over this, can I be at home now please?” lol

After several false starts, I finally got a number that was moving in the right direction... made it all the way down to “0”, then got the exact same error message as before and bounced back to the title screen.

Until Bungie announces that the servers are back up, I doubt anyone is getting in.

Pro Tip, use his EMP to third-party the final enemy squads. Their defenses and health make them super easy to mop up, and they’re too focused on each other to target the drone.

But yeah, can’t wait to get back to King’s Canyon.

If that's real, I'll definitely have to put some time in.

I only played three games in the new map. It seemed neat. The individual areas feel much more like CoD maps or something, I think, which is cool. There is something about the simplicity of King's Canyon that might be hard to top long-term, though.

I think it was a good decision to take away King's Canyon to force people to learn the new map. Once people know the new one they can bring the old one back.

The new map has a _lot_ more verticality to it than the old one which makes fights a bit more complicated. It's a beautiful map and there is a lot of variety in it which is nice. There is even a special place you can go to get a 100% chance of a sniper rifle which is nice.

I've enjoyed some time off from Destiny, and been LOVING Wreckfest, it's just pure joy all the time.

I am looking forward to getting back into Destiny here pretty soon...after chores, housework, Halloween projects and costumes, soccer games, travel, work and life in general....

I heard about the second downtime via Twitter so I just played Borderlands 3 until they said they were back online. After that, I got in without any problems at all. Not even one disconnect.
