I haven't seen anyone else post this:

Vex are my favorite, so I"m happy.

Vex are my favorite, so I"m happy.

It's been a while, hasn't it? I guess Eater of Worlds was Vex, but that didn't really have the same atmosphere as the Vex stuff in D1.

My favorite missions from D1 are the ones where you first fight the Vex, and then the one where you fight them on Campus 9, where there was a building you'd naturally climb up to be safe, and then the Minotaurs would teleport up there with you. I'm hoping Luke's musings will result in cranking the difficulty back up in missions to bring those memorable moments back.

Yeah, your description reminds me of when the hunters follow you inside in ODST’s Tayari Plaza. I just about shat myself.

We did have Curse of Osiris. Which I honestly feel gets way too much undue hate. I’ve voiced my own gripes about missed opportunities, but on the whole the actual campaign and content wasn’t nearly as bad as a lot of folks painted it.

It didn’t evoke old school vexness the way this trailer does, but I hear you. Plus Morena Baccarin. I still get ticked when I can’t use my sparrow (except that one place in that strike).

It is entirely possible what we look for from Vex is highly different. A large portion of it for me is the purely environmental aspects of it. The Simulant Past and Future were by far the best environments of Destiny 2 until The Dreaming City. And they were deathly underused. I don’t find single-minded-murder-robots inherently interesting. But their planetary engines? That is the juicy stuff. Milky stuff?

I don't know about anyone else, but my main gripe was that the story missions were so incredibly easy, it made me not care at all about any supposed threat Osiris and Sagira were prattling on about. Seriously, I switched to melee-only just to make it even remotely interesting.

I want the Vex to seem like a terrifying infinite force, not a minor obstacle.

That’s a problem with nearly all of Destiny 2.

Strikes were hard in Destiny. Nothing in Destiny 2 has ever approached the Archon Priest or the Cabal brother from the Taken King. So called “Heroic” strikes are easy as hell. I haven’t seen any boss last longer than about 45 seconds in ages, and the only ones that make it that long only do because they go immune between phases.

Very, very few encounters (I cannot think of any outside of Raids) in either D1 or D2 are honestly things I would consider hard. A few extras that I would consider Hard to solo. I would love to have most of the D1 Strikes back. And hopefully some of the upcoming changes improve Boss Encounters, albeit I am all for enforced damage phases.

My first times entering The Black Garden and The Vault of Glass were thrilling, but not out of being hard.

Mine too. And since it seems that Vex can time travel, here's this same thing from 2017.

Also, if I could get a Ragashingo Translation of what I'm seeing here, if there is anything, that would be cool.

Leaked 2.5 years ago:

Wasn't there a planned Vex expansion that got cut? I wonder if this has elements of that. Obviously part of the trailer has been around for a while.

It looked familiar, which is why I thought someone had already posted it.
