No, seriously, thank YOU. I thought I'd try to solo the final encounter to just get it done after Chappy hooked me up with the checkpoint (thanks again, Chappy!). After a few hours of trying, at one point going nearly 30 minutes without a heavy brick dropping (I REALLY didn't want to go back to the Dreaming City to rally at a PE flag and then make the trek back to the portal), a near miss where I nearly had the boss killed, but was instead gunned down by a crowd of Taken Psions (when I was pretty sure I had killed them all) may have sent both my Elite controller and my ancient Astro A50s slamming down to my desktop.
Apologies in advance to my raid team if I have mic issues this week :(
All I need now is that 200K nightfall and I'll have the full set done as well!

Try "The Hollowed Lair"; solar burn, 210 handicap, extinguish, grounded, blackout. I Hit 280 last night coming in second to CruelLEGACEY in the race to finish. ;) Just hope that the boss doesn't get stuck immune when he grabs you - you need to stun him or blackout will wipe you to orbit with extinguish. 2 Dawnblades and 1 tether.

Just hope that the boss doesn't get stuck immune when he grabs you - you need to stun him or blackout will wipe you to orbit with extinguish. 2 Dawnblades and 1 tether.
I did this exact strike with a couple randos yesterday. We made 3 attempts with those specific mods, and all 3 times the boss glitched out and we couldn't break his shield while he pulled us in, resulting in an insta-wipe.
So we tried one final time, but we went with Match Game, Extinguish, and Iron. We finished a few seconds past the 15 minute mark, with a score over 300K.
Just a suggestion in case anyone is running into bad luck with the immune boss glitch.
That encounter is broken. Every time I get that strike, breaking his shield doesn’t guarantee that he’ll actually drop you. It seems totally random, and it’s only started happening recently.
Have your roaming Super open by the time he teleports you

It prevents you from being stuck in his tether, so even if your 3 mates get blasted off like Team Rocket, you'll still be around to revive them.
