Destiny 2 beta updates just as slowly on PS4 as D1 did (Destiny)

I don't know what to tell you, but D1 does update in the background both on PS4 and XB1. After seeing this I went and turned on my PS4 and the D2 Beta had been updated as well.

It's a weird thing that affects persistently-online games, I've noticed. Usually it works, but if you want to be absolutely certain that it'll update while you're away, then anytime an update releases, go to the PSN store online and send a download to your PS4. It can be anything: a theme, an avatar pic, a ShareFactory template... As long as you manually get the PS4 downloading something, it'll pick up on the update as well.

It also doesn't work 100% of the time. I tried to pre-load the Beta this way, but when I got home from work it hadn't even started downloading.
