Sathona, who wants to know the truth... (Destiny)

Is easily lead by lies and minor confidences. Like the Ahamkara, her worm uses it's knowledge to manipulate her into performing it's bidding, feeding her fear and building trust by using it's extensive knowledge to pull her in the desired direction.

The Leviathan tells them that their struggle to survive, with all the things arrayed against them, is a source of hope to it. That the path they are going will turn them into monsters.

Aurash says that isn't enough. That she needs vengance and assured survival.
Xi Ro says that the Leviathan is biased because it's on top of the food chain, and that Xi Ro won't stand for a universe where cruelty exists.

Sathona argues that the worm offers easy power and aid, no suffering required.

Here the Leviathan is prophetic. The three sisters become monsters, creatures far more horrible then they can conceive. Xi Ro becomes the monster that her former self would fight against. Sathona becomes a deceiver who uses the lure of easy power for her own ends, and Aurash becomes Oryx, and leads a galactic genocide more horrible then anything the Helium drinkers could do in a million years.
