*SOT* Dark souls on sale right now on steam

While many people like to compare Destiny to Borderlands, I think in many ways Dark Souls is a more apt comparison. Dark souls really pioneers the idea of a "Shared world" Albeit a depressing, dark, lonely shared world. The idea of seamless matchmaking is tightly integrated into the experience. Dark Souls also walks a razor edge between character investment, and player skill. In terms of connectivity you can see a lot of influence from it in Destiny, and I hope in terms of balance and skill requirement we see even more. My only real complaint is that they take the lonliness angle a bit far (No chatting with co-op players, and no way to directly invite friends to games)

And Good news! Dark Souls is on sale on Steam right now for 7.50 Go buy it! Seriously, if you want to understand how much a shared world can add to a game you owe it to yourself to check it out.
